Outdoor Event Production
We are experts in high volume festival bar operations delivering profitable, award winning venues with excellent branding and sponsorship opportunities and outstanding customer experiences.
We have created successful operations at London 2012, Henley Royal Regatta, Cowes Week Sailing Regatta and the Wimbledon Summer Screens, Gorilla welcomes the opportunity to develop new sites and provide improved service and profitability to existing ones.
With our in house production team we can plan, design and build the physical stand structures, and with a huge number of gorgeous promotional staff we can deliver outstanding brand promotion or experiential activity.
EXPERIENTIAL FESTIVAL / OUTDOOR
We work alongside major drinks brands to deliver outstanding marketing activities. We help bring your marketing visions to life giving you the opportunity to tap into your target demographic plus the potential for significant drinks sales.
As part of our festival and experiential marketing service we also provide a Drinks Strategy Service. We consult with brands at the planning stage of a product launch to create a strategy that will achieve recognition and the desired level of exposure. Our clients include Bacardi, Diageo, Schweppes, Moet Hennessey, Veuve Clicquot, and Stella Artois.
We work in partnership with Mahiki, creating the world’s largest outdoor tiki bars at Mahiki Henley, Mahiki Cowes, Mahiki V Festival (VIP backstage), and Mahiki Coconut product launches.
We provide a planning service to assist in ensuring your event complies with:
- Health & Safety legislation
- Crowd Flow and Fire Risk Assements
- Noise planning and monitoring – legal compliance.
We have a full complement of Personal License holders within the team at Gorilla and we are well versed in the licensing legislation and application process for Premises Licenses and Temporary Event Notices.

BBC Proms in the Park
In 2017 Gorilla added the BBC & Festival Republic to our client list with the BBC Proms in the Park & Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park contract.
Our belief that large scale volume events can still be delivered with style and high production value alongside a premium quality serve set us apart from the industry competition.
Taking over all the public catering and bars for the 50,000 sell out show we created a sleeker bar set up with craft and premium bar offerings,smart and stylish environments tailored to the event and guest areas.
Cornbury Music Festival
Brand new to our portfolio for 2017, Gorilla joined forces with the team at Cornbury Music Festival to see off their Fabulous Finale in true style.
Working closely with the headline sponsor Hook Norton Brewery, and introducing Nyetimber to the fold, Gorilla produced and operated all of the public and VIP bars across the site. These included the main Last Hurrah festival bar, The Nyetimber Bus, two Pubs on Wheels, The Hook Norton Real Ale Bar, VIP Bar & Guest Bars.
Goodwood Festival of Speed
Since 2015 Gorilla Events have produced and operated the Ice House Pit Lane, a multi unit food and beverage area adjacent to Goodwood House. In 2016 we added the Cricket Pitch to our operations on site.
The project comprises of outlet infrastructure design and build, through to on site service delivery and trader management.
Gorilla now owns over 200m of bespoke shop frontages, purpose built for the event which we deploy each year and work alongside renowned street food operators to curate the food outlets.
As well as managing the 30 food outlets Gorilla also operates 7 in house bar outlets and several coffee shops.
Gorilla teamed up with Richard Turner (Hawksmoor) and his team behind Meatopia in 2014. The event is a celebration of all things meat related with over 50 of Londons best meateries sending in their top chefs and signature meat dish to contend for the top seller spot.
Since our first outing Gorilla have been on hand to deliver all the bars across the site and work with various agencies to service impressiveactivations for Southern Comfort, Jack Daniels, Sailor Jerry, Buffalo Trace, McGuigans Wine, Casillero del Diablo and Beefsteak Wine. Not to mention our friends at Fullers Brewery with their Westside Drinks craft range including Frontier craft lager and Sierra Nevada.
Polo in the Park
Gorilla have worked with Polo in the Park since 2011. Returning for our 7th year in 2017, Gorilla design, produce and operate all bars across the site including the 7000 capacity Mahiki Coconut bar with pitch side raised VIP deck and our bespoke built Lanson Champagne Bar & Garden.
In 2015 we launched the Grazing Paddock Food Court, bringing a range of London’s best restaurants and street food traders to this thirsty and hungry crowd. Taking up the challenge in 2016 we saw sublime food from Mark HIX, Gordon Ramsay’s Maze Restaurant, Smokestak and Bubbledogs to name but a few.
In 2016 Gorilla Events added the world famous Goodwood Revival to its portfolio.
We designed and built 10 vintage 1940’s shop units and curated a roster of street food traders to deliver and outstanding addition to this incredible well dressed event in their Over the Road area.
As well as managing the 8 food outlets Gorilla also operated our own in house Victorian Pub and a Goodwood Organic Bacon Roll & Coffee shop.
The Beat Hotel
The Beat Hotel is the award winning venue devised by Dan Baxter MD of Gorilla Events & partners in crime Giles Looker of the Soulshakers and Nick Griffiths of Kingdom Collective. Glastonbury’s ‘Best Concession’ winner sets up shop between the Pyramid and John Peel and serves up a heady mix of fine cocktails, beat coffee and a feast of bbq heaven curated by Chris Gillard from the Michelin Starred St John restaurant. With an awesome line up from of special guest DJs playing all day and into the night, the Beat Hotel is fast becoming a Glastonbury must see.
