Who Are Gorilla?

Gorilla Events Ltd. represents the highest standards of festival bartending and cocktail party provision. Each year Gorilla employs over 200 people in a variety of roles. Our main recruitment drive begins in May ahead of the busy festival season and carries through till September each year.

What events do we do?

Our music festivals range from Dance, Rock & Heavy Metal to Classical & Folk. We also have our own enclosure at the Henley Royal Regatta each year.

What jobs are available?

We are always looking for summer staff who would like to work at festivals. There are both full time and part time opportunities throughout June, July & August. See application form for more details.

What happens after I have filled out the form?

Successful applicants will be contacted with details of positions available.

Will there be an interview?

For full time positions an interview will be required. That means a trip to Gorilla HQ to meet the team. Most part time positions will require only a telephone interview.

Do I need experience?

No, not for every position we have available. Gorilla employs a wide range of personnel from cocktail flair bartenders, waitresses and chefs through to crowd stewards and licensed door staff. We pride ourselves on our professional and friendly service. Personality goes a long way but you will require some certain skills in order to work for Gorilla. These skills are highlighted within each positions job detail.

Do I need a work permit?

Yes, if you were born outside of the EU.

If I work for a whole weekend, how much can I expect to get paid?

Pay is dependent on experience and the task at hand but you can earn up to £300 over a weekend excluding tips!

Where do I sleep?

Staff will be designated an area for camping at overnight festivals, you will need to bring your own camping equipment and personal items.

How do I get to and from the events?

In most cases you will be expected to make your own way to and from the event, in some cases transport may be provided or subsidised.

What do I need to bring?

All members of part time staff must bring photo identification and their national insurance no. with them to each event. You will not be allowed to work if you do not have these with you on arrival. If staying overnight at a festival you will need to bring your own camping equipment, sleeping bag etc. We supply you with Gorilla t-shirts to work in. In some cases we supply bar tools, but you can bring your own if you are a true professional.
